    It was my highest mountain climb in the Philippines, i still remember it was 1980 when i have my geological field practice at Davao province and we were invited by former VP of Hijo Banana Plantation. He is from Batangas (but got married with Davaoena) and they were very accomodating in touring as in the Mt. Apo peak. On the way up you can see ther panoramic view of the whole Davao City. Reminds me also of the "bihod", "sinugba","pusit", and others(with hole red pepper) at the Luz kinilaw restaurant besides the bay. Mabuhay Davao....nice and friendly people.
